Allen D. Hillis, 44, of Columbus, died at 11:22 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Maude Norton Hospital in Columbus.
He was born November 22, 1967, in Parsons, Kansas to Ronald Hillis and Janice (Ball) Evans. He grew up in Parsons where he attended school.
Through the years he had worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons, Millennium Rail in Neodesha and had moved to Columbus in July of 2012.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, singing, dancing, was a Kansas City Chiefs fan, and a history buff. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He married Frances (Beardmore) Valentine. They later divorced. He and Vickie L. Weaver were married December 11, 1992, in Parsons. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Hubert "Sonny" Evans; and one sister, Cindy Evans.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
