We welcomed a beautiful baby girl into our family at 12:30 a.m., Thursday April 2, 2026.
Andie Faye Dodsworth was born sleeping. Weighing 7.6 pounds and measuring 19.5 inches long. She didn’t enter this world with a heartbeat, but she will be remembered in our hearts forever.
Our hearts are unable to fathom this loss. We soaked up as much time as possible loving on her and holding her. The kids were so very gentle and loving to her and have asked so many questions far beyond their years.
We have been overwhelmed with love and support from family and friends. The prayers are carrying us as we walk this road of grief.
Honestly, we aren’t sure how to go on from here, but we know our God is faithful to lead and carry us. His mercies are new every morning.
We love you, Andie, and we are purposed now more than ever to make Heaven our home. We know Jesus is cradling you in His arms and you are spending time with grandparents that have went on before you.
Baby Girl, don’t worry. We’ll bring tennis shoes to heaven, because I know we’re going to have the best play date there.
We will love and miss you always. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart.
Andie is survived by her loving parents, Alexander and Lorinda Dodsworth; her siblings, Aubrey and Griffin Dodsworth; paternal grandparents, Doyle and Susan Dodsworth; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Julie Stowe; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a graveside service at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley.
Memorials are suggested to the Honor and Hope Foundation or the Altamont Holiness Church. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
