Andre K. Thompson

Andre K. Thompson, 65, of Parsons, passed away at 4:20 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2026, at his home.

Andre Kirk Thompson was born on March 15, 1965, to Leodis and Addie Lee (Neal) Thompson in Wichita. He grew up and attended school in Wichita.

For 25 years, Andre worked as a floor tech at Labette Health. In 2021, he had to retire due to a medical diagnosis.

Andre loved to fish and watch sports. He was a Philadelphia Eagles fan through and through. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially barbecuing with his nephew, Jason Shaw.

Six grandchildren – Sydney Shaw, Serena Martin, Stephon Dorsey, Hakeem Webb, Jasmine Pierce, and Markell Smith

Two great-grandchildren – Kylah Martin and Aspen Shaw

One brother – Jayant Thompson

One aunt – Pearlie Trotter

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Freeman Thompson.

There will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2026, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
