Andrew R. Schibi, 20, of Parsons, died early Saturday morning, November 28, 2009, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Neosho County.

He was born January 20, 1989, in Parsons, Kansas, to Raymond W. and Brenda S. (Little) Schibi. He grew up in Parsons where he attended Parsons Catholic School through the third grade. He then attended schools in St. Paul where he participated in football, basketball, Future Farmers of America, and CYO, graduating from St. Paul High School in 2008. He had worked for Travis McKinzie at Regional Veterinary Service in Oswego, and was currently employed by Old Dominion Freight Line in Parsons.

He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul and Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, and team roping. As a youth, he participated in 4-H and raised pigs. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vera Little, July 9, 2009; and cousin, Jacinta Schibi, September 6, 2009.

The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at 7:30 p.m., in Parish Hall at the church.

Memorials are suggested to St. Patrick's School Endowment Fund, St. Paul Alumni Association, or the Labette County Fair Board. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O.
