Anna J. Kilburn

Oswego

Anna J. Kilburn, 80, of Oswego, Kansas, died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Columbus.

She was born on March 1, 1937 in Columbus, Kansas to Omer and Lucy (Wilson) Crain.  She grew up in the Oswego area and graduated from Labette County Community High School in 1956.  She and Manley Faulkerson were married and they lived in Coffeyville, Kansas where she worked at the hospital in Coffeyville.  They later divorced and moved to the Seneca and Neosho, Missouri area.  In 1965, she moved to Los Angeles, California.  She and George Cirillo were married on January 17, 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She lived in Los Angeles where she worked at The Bank of America.  Her husband preceded her in death on January 20, 1984.  Following her husband's death, she moved to Oswego and worked for Stephens Manufacturing.  In 1987, she moved to Kansas City and worked for J.C. Penney until retiring in 1997.  She then moved to Parsons and worked at the former 32 nd Street Quick Stop.  In 2010, she moved to Oswego.

Anna enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Seven grandchildren – Victoria Conrad (Thomas), Brandi Carlson (Larry), Jathan Hall, Jared Hall, Tyler George (Mary), Kelsi McDonald, and Mark McDonald

Three great-grandchildren – Maci Carlson, Tyce Carlson, Parker Conrad

One sister - Eulila Erwin                                                          Peoria, Illinois

Several Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by three brothers; Maurice, Eugene, and Floyd Crain, three sisters; Phyllis, Lavon, and Naomi, and one daughter, Frieda Hall on April 8, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Heart Association.  These may be left at or mailed to the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home P.O. Box 374, Parsons, Kansas, 67357.
