Anna B. Knight, 86, of St. Paul, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at her home. She had been in her usual health and her death was not expected.
She was born August 15, 1929, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Howard R. Gregg and Ruth Mae (Riley) Gregg. At the age of 3, she moved with her family to St. Paul. She grew up and attended school in St. Paul, graduating from St. Paul High School.
She and Alvin Marcell Knight were married on July 31, 1946 in Columbus, Kansas. Following their marriage, they lived in several areas while he worked as an electrician. In 1959, they settled in St. Paul. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on November 14, 2001.
Anna worked as a CNA at the former Living Skills Center and the former St. Paul Manor. She retired in 1989.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Paul and was on the Pastor Parish Committee. She was also a member of the Erie Chapter No 136 Order of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed going to prayer breakfasts, spending time with her friends and going to her grandchildren's activities.

She was preceded in death by three half-brothers, Jack Kennedy, James Kennedy, and Paul Kennedy.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at the St. Paul United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery north of St. Paul.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
