Arthur J. "Art" Holloway, Sr. of Parsons, died at 3:55 p.m., Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born January 8, 1957, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Albert Holloway, Sr. and Mary (Ferdig) Holloway. For many years he lived in Iowa. He then lived in Independence, Kansas, for a time before moving to Parsons 18 years ago.
He was an auctioneer for many years and had also owned and operated several bars and clubs in the Southeast Kansas area.
He was a Presbyterian. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he had served as both president and trustee.
He and Peggy Wilson were married and later divorced. He and Rhonda Cook were married and later divorced.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2011, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Delano Cemetery in Cameron, Missouri at 3:00 p.m., Monday. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
