Audra J. Vollmer

Audra J. Vollmer, 71, of Chetopa passed away at 9:12 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at her home.

On March 2, 1948, Audra Jane Wyrick was born to Archibald Gale and Margaret Jane (Brown) Wyrick in Vallejo, California. Audra grew up and attended schools in central California. She lived and worked in California until moving to Chetopa, Kansas in 1995, where she had since lived.

Audra earned her Associates Degree in Nursing from Labette Community College. For several years she worked as a Registered Nurse at Medicalodges in Columbus, Kansas. Her favorite pastimes included cake decorating, painting, sewing, knitting and quilting.

Her longtime companion – Harlon Shearer, of the home

Three sons – Shawn Pangelinan of Vallejo, California

Michael Pangelinan of Vallejo, California

Vincent Vollmer and his wife, Jackie, of Parsons, Kansas

One daughter – Sarah Tregellas and her husband, Joseph, of Olathe, Kansas

Eight grandchildren – Quentin Vollmer, Jackson Avery, Remington Vollmer, Elyjah Vollmer, Zoey Vollmer, Wesley Vollmer, Audrey Pangelinan, and Vincent Pangelinan

Cremation will take place under the direction of the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Chetopa.
