Audry G. Dunavan, 80, a lifelong resident of St. Paul, passed away at 10:13 p.m., Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola.
She was born August 28, 1932 in St. Paul, Kansas, the youngest child of Joseph Aaron and Anna Frances (Lero) Jarboe.
Through the years, Audry had worked as a certified nurse assistant in nursing homes.
She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul.
She and Patrick James Dunavan were married. He preceded her in death in 2002.
Survivors include:
One Son – James R. Dunavan and his wife, Kathleen Longview, TX
Two Daughters – Linda Forst and her husband, Steven Rockvale, TN
Michelle Russell and her husband, David Erie, KS
Six Grandchildren
Twelve Great-Grandchildren
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Jarboe in 1964; her mother, Anna Jarboe in 1980; one brother, Charles Joseph Jarboe in 1976; and three sisters, Marie Bailey in 2000, Eilene Brock in 2005, and Annabel Purdon in 1992.
The funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at St. Francis Catholic Church in St. Paul. Private burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m., Friday, at the church.
