Beryl D. Karhoff, 79, of Chetopa, Kansas, died at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Chetopa Manor Nursing Home.
He was born on July 4, 1935 in Parsons, Kansas to Lawrence and Elma (Davis) Karhoff. He grew up and attended schools in Parsons.
Mr. Karhoff first began working at the Jarboe Feed Lot in Parsons, then he moved to Wichita and worked at the Wichita Stock Yards. He moved to Oswego, he then drove a milk route for Kraft, and later worked at the Oswego Co-Op for several years. He also loved milking for local private dairies. Later he worked at Con. Ag. in Carthage, Missouri. He retired from Con. Ag. in 2000.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gardening, and his dogs; Sugar and Bear.
He married Patricia Gearhart in 1956 at Miami, Oklahoma. They later divorced. He married Alma George in 1969 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on September 17, 2003.

Graveside funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 at Springhill cemetery in Parsons. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m., Thursday at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Chetopa.
