Betty J. Gearhiser, 88, of Parsons, peacefully passed away in her sleep the morning of Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society in Parsons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gearhiser.
Betty June Milks was born on June 17, 1933, to David and Mary Ellen (Clary) Milks in rural Altamont. For many years, she was an administrative assistant at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant.
At her request, there will be no service. After cremation, her cremains will be scattered with her husband.
