Altamont

Bradley Dale Myers, 19, of Altamont, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2017 near Altamont.

He was born March 9, 1998 in Parsons, Kansas to Brad D. and Gina (Armstrong) Myers. As a young boy, he grew up in Altamont where he attended Altamont Grade School and graduated in 2016 from Labette County High School. He then attended Coffeyville Community College where he was enrolled in the Lineman Training Program.

He worked at Thomas Implement, E&L Construction, and for various farmers and carpentry contractors in the area. He owned and operated Jr's Carpet Cleaning and More and was in partnership with Matt Strathe in Tis The Season Lighting. Bradley was currently employed by CDL Electric Company in Pittsburg.

Bradley enjoyed working, going to the lake, fishing, being outdoors, and riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers. He especially loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Evan Hamilton on July 17, 2016; maternal grandfather, Jim Armstrong; and a nephew, Gerard Myers, on January 31, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Grace Baptist Church in Altamont. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.

Memorials are suggested to The 506 Foundation, Inc. for the Building and Trades Program. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
