St. Paul

We are so sad to announce the passing of one of God's children, Braedin James Voorhies, of St. Paul, Kansas.

Braedin is the son of James and Kelly (Brown) Voorhies.  He was born on July 11, 2010, and entered rest on April 8, 2024.

Braedin attended St. Paul Elementary and Junior High School.  He was loved and touched by everyone that knew him.  He had two amazing, devoted and affectionate caregivers, Trish Norris and Heather Vogel, with whom he grew a very special bond.

Braedin came into life with many challenges, but never let those challenges hold him back from living a giving and loving life.  He loved all things religion and faithfully made the sign of the cross with much pride and loved sharing the sign of peace at Mass.  Other things that Braedin treasured were swimming, riding UTV's and the golf cart in the evenings with Mom, Dad and doggy Oggy, bonfires, boat rides, all sports, and spending time with family and friends.  He was known for giving the best hugs ever!
