Breunca K. Taylor, 18, of Parsons, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Fredonia.
She was born on July 20, 1996 in Parsons to Solomon E. Taylor and Johnnie M. (Buck) Taylor. She grew up in Parsons and attended Lincoln Elementary School, Parsons Middle School, and graduated from Parsons High School in 2014. While in high school, Breunca was active in several clubs including Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Skills USA, Spanish Club, and Health Occupations Students of America. She was currently a student at Labette Community College in the nursing program.
She had worked at Woodridge Estates, McDonalds, and was currently employed at the Stockyards Travel Plaza.
She enjoyed music and played in the band in high school. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was baptized in June of 2012.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, David Lee and Mable Taylor; and maternal grandparents, Johnny and Christine Buck; and one nephew, Tony Washington, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home.
