Byron W. "B.J." Curtis, II, 47, of Parsons, passed away at 12:35 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Cherie, of the home.
B.J. Curtis was born on May 13, 1975, to Byron Wayne Curtis, Jr. and Libby Colleen (Bolen) Curtis in Springfield, Missouri. He grew up and attended school in Norwood, Missouri, where he graduated from Norwood High School in 1993.
Before moving to Parsons in 2006, he had worked at Wal Mart in Springfield. In Parsons, B.J. worked at CST Tank until 2020, when he had to retire due to ill health. After moving to Parsons, he earned an Associate's degree from Labette Community College.
His greatest joy in life came from spending time with his children and doing things with them. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
On October 16, 2004, B.J. and Cherie M. Fitzwater were united in marriage in Springfield, Missouri. She survives of the home.

His parents – Junior and Colleen Curtis of Mansfield, Missouri
One brother – Lee Curtis of Mansfield, Missouri
Cremation is under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
