C. "Ted" Noble, 72, of rural Walnut, Kansas, died at 1:10 a.m., Monday, April 5, 2010, at his home.
He was born December 5, 1937, in Springfield, Illinois, to Theodore Clyde and Elsie Marie (Hennerberger) Noble. As a young boy, he grew up in Pleasant Plains, Illinois, where he worked on the family farm and graduated high school.
In 1973, he moved to Walnut where he farmed, raised hogs, and was owner/operator of his own trucking company and for many years hauled cattle.
He and Doris E. Sandness were married in February 1958. They later divorced. He and Cassandra Hayes were married May 24, 1994, in Walnut at the United Methodist Church.
He was a member of the Walnut United Methodist Church and the Pleasant Plains Masonic Lodge. Through the years, he immensely enjoyed his chosen vocations of farming and trucking.

Two Daughters – Vicki King Walnut, KS
Mary Hartzell Erie, KS
Seven Grandchildren
Five Great-Grandchildren
One Brother – John B. Noble Pleasant Plains, IL
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the Walnut United Methodist Church. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, in Pleasant Plains Cemetery in Pleasant Plains, Illinois. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
