Carl Singleton, 60, of Chetopa, died at 5:05 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at his home. He had been in his usual health and death was not expected.
He was born April 1, 1948, in Wisconsin to George Edward and Fern (Noble) Singleton. Before moving to Chetopa a year ago, he had lived in Warsaw, Missouri, several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
