Carla Jane (Good) Kennedy

Carla Jane (Good) Kennedy, 56, of Dennis, passed away at 9:43 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

She was born February 24, 1962 in Parsons, Kansas to Donald P. and Marilyn "Jo" (Scott) Good. As a young girl, she grew up in Dennis, attended Mound Valley Grade School, and graduated in 1980 from Labette County High School in Altamont. She then attended Salina Area Technical College where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in Commercial Art.

Through the years, Carla worked at Sun Graphics, Par Forms, and The Parsons Sun, all in Parsons. From 2013-2014, she attended WyoTech School where she received Eagle Technical Honors in automobile collision and refinishing. She then returned to Parsons where she worked at Tank Connections.

Carla's passion was ministering to and praying for others. She enjoyed photography, horseback riding, riding four-wheelers and ATVs, drawing, painting, going to movies, and automotive restoration and upholstery.

She and Douglas Kennedy were married. They later divorced.

Her Parents – Don and Jo Good of Dennis, KS

Her Elder Sister – Pam Larson of Grove, OK

Her Triplet Sister - Connie Baker and her husband, Bruce, of Dennis, KS

Her Triplet Brother – Craig Good and his wife, Lisa, of Broken Arrow, OK

Nieces and Nephews – Brett Larson, Kaitlyn (Larson) Epperson, Bryce Baker, Hannah Baker, Olivia Good, and Jillian (Good) Barber

A Host of Friends

Private burial will be held by the family on Saturday. A memorial celebration of Carla's life will commence at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Cancer Treatment Center of America – Tulsa or the American Cancer Society. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
