Carla D. Kendrick

Carla D. Kendrick, 40, of Parsons, died at 1:04 p.m., Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born July 9, 1973 in Monroe, Louisiana to Lanny Natt and Gloria Jean Kindrick. She grew up and attended school in Rayville, Louisiana. In 1993, she moved to Parsons where she had lived since. Through the years she had worked at various places including Elmhaven East and West Nursing Homes, SKIL Resource Center and The Parsons Sun. She loved softball, playing bingo and going to casinos. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Survivors include: Father – Lanny Natt Parsons, KS Two Daughters – Adicia Kendricks Parsons, KS Adreanna Kendricks Parsons, KS Three Brothers – Bobby Kendrick and wife, Lillian Parsons, KS Victor Kendrick and wife, Patrice Parsons, KS Lanny Natt Kendrick Parsons, KS Seven Sisters – Cassandra Harris and husband, Larry Parsons, KS Angela Thompson and husband, Roger Parsons, KS Joyce Kendrick Parsons, KS Nicole Kendrick Parsons, KS Cindy Kendrick Parsons, KS Marilyn Kendrick Parsons, KS Samantha Villanueva Heber City, UT A Half-Brother – Lance Banks Monroe, LA Numerous Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
