Carol J. Deming, 56, of Hayes, Virginia, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday, October 30, 2007.
She was born April 10, 1951, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to Joseph Calvin and Jeanne Marie (Chauvaux) Nolder. She grew up and attended schools in Pennsylvania before moving to Oswego, Kansas, in 1963, with her family. She had lived in Virginia for many years.
She and Elroy Snyder were married. They later divorced. On February 14, 1992, she and Dennis Deming were married. He preceded her in death October 20, 2006.
She had worked as a certified nursing assistant. She enjoyed crocheting and working crossword puzzles. Through the years, she had attended the Baptist church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 5, 2007, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1:00 p.m., Sunday.
