Carol M. O'Connor, 45, of Parsons, died at 3:15 p.m., Thursday, November 1, 2007, at Labette Health. She had been in failing health.
She was born October 18, 1962, in Parsons, to Thomas J. and Arlyne J. (Bloeser) O'Connor. She grew up and attended Meadow View Elementary School, was a 1980 graduate of Labette County High School, and earned her Associate degree from Labette Community College.
Through the years, she had worked as a childcare provider and a paraprofessional at various schools.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons, the Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Patrick's Catholic School.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Arlyne O'Connor, in 1983; and one brother-in-law, Steven Bradbury, in June 2007.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Daughters of Isabella Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2007, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The Parish Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends immediately following the rosary.
