Carolyn S. Gentzell, 73, of Parsons, passed away at 11:34 a.m., Friday, August 17, 2018 at the Parsons Good Samaritan Society.
She was born November 6, 1944 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri to Lester and Josephine (Johnson) Hill.
Carolyn had worked as a certified nursing assistant for hospice in Liberty, Missouri.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and in earlier years playing the keyboard for a traveling band.
Survivors include:
Son-in-law – Curtis Mabrey of Parsons, KS
Two Granddaughters - Ashley Sipes of Kansas City, MO
Lauren Stapleton of St. Petersburg, FL
She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Wendy Mabrey, on April 13, 2017.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Private committal services will be held at a later date.
