Carolyn A. Manly, 56, of Parsons, passed away at 11:35 a.m., Monday, November 21, 2022, at Elmhaven East.
Carolyn Ann Manly was born on August 23, 1966, to Earnest and Connie (Tipton) Manly in Fredonia, Kansas. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Erie.
For several years, Carolyn was a Certified Nurses Aide in a nursing home in Fredonia. In 2006, she moved to Parsons, where she had lived since.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. One of their favorite activities together was watching Mickey Mouse. She also enjoyed baking for her family.
Survivors include:
One son – Rusty Williams of Independence, Kansas
Two daughters – Tonda Collins and her husband, Luther, of Parsons, Kansas
Natashya Nettleton of Belen, New Mexico
Four grandchildren – Charley Root, Donnie Collins, Nikal Williams, and Thomas Collins
One brother – Earnest Manly of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Four sisters – Salita Shadley of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Samantha Cowen of Parsons, Kansas
Terry Hoagland of Erie, Kansas
Theresa Houghton of Erie, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her parents.
No service is planned at this time. Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
