Celbert C. Porter, 78, of Lenexa, formerly of Parsons, died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at his home.
He was born February 25, 1936 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Cecil C. and Helen E. (Essex) Porter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He taught for many years in the Carlisle School District in Carlisle, Massachusetts until his retirement.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons under the direction of Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
