Chad E. Phillips

Chad E. Phillips, 38, of Parsons, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the home of his brother in Parsons. He had been in his usual health and death was not expected.

He was born September 12, 1970, in Parsons, Kansas, to James and Sharyl (Swofford) Phillips.

He grew up and attended schools in Parsons, and later joined the Job Corps where he earned his GED. At the time of his death, he was working as a laborer for Randy Hinman Construction in Parsons.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons where the family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
