Charla M. (Cramer) Seager, 53, of Mound Valley, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013, at her home.
She was born August 28, 1959, at Parsons, Kansas to Charles Andrew Cramer and Golda May (Meier) Cramer. Charla grew up and attended school in Mound Valley, Kansas and then the Labette County High School in Altamont where she graduated in 1977. Following marriage, she lived in Parsons briefly until moving to Mound Valley where she had lived since then.
She was employed as a secretary at the Fitzgerald Industries at Mound Valley for several years.
She enjoyed crocheting and attending her children's sporting events. She was a member of the Christian Church at Mound Valley, Kansas.
She was married to Sam R. Seager on August 5, 1977, at Mound Valley. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include, one son, Brett Seager of Wichita, Kansas; three grandchildren; her parents, Charles and Golda Cramer of Mound Valley, Kansas; four brothers, Mike Cramer of Mound Valley, Russell Cramer and his wife, Ruthie of Boonville, Missouri, Warren Cramer and his wife, Marjorie of Mound Valley and Mark Cramer and his companion, Jennifer Martin of Mound Valley, Kansas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kassia Seager, who passed away in May of 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the Mound Valley Christian Church. The family will receive friends at the Church from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday where friends may call after 1:00 p.m., Friday.
