Charlotte M. Hall, 63, of Parsons, formerly of Altamont, died at 2:13 p.m., Sunday, September 5, 2010, in the Emergency Room at Labette Health.
She was born February 22, 1947, in Oswego, Kansas, to Charles D. "Charlie" and Iona "Elaine" (Christy) Nading. She grew up and attended schools in Altamont where she graduated from Labette County Community High School.
While growing up in Altamont, she worked in the local family business, the Dairy Bee. She also worked in garment factories and as a waitress 38 years in various local restaurants where she enjoyed meeting customers.
She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Parsons. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and collecting elephant figurines.
She and William "Bill" Hall were married in Altamont. They later divorced.

One Son – Don Nading and wife, Dianna Altamont, KS
Three Daughters – Angie Jones and husband, Steve Grand Prairie, TX
Kathy Stoll and husband, Tracy Parsons, KS
Rhonda Ghering and husband, Clifford Parsons, KS
Eighteen Grandchildren
Eight Great-Grandchildren
Two Brothers – David Nading Lawton, OK
Doug Nading Independence, KS
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Iona Jo Nading, on December 7, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Altamont. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. The family will receive friends from 3-4:00 p.m., Saturday, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont.
