Charlotte A. Merrill

Charlotte A. Merrill, 81, of Parsons, passed away the afternoon of Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Labette Health.

Charlotte Aretha Farran was born on September 3, 1944, to Charles W. and Edith (Guy) Farran in Parsons, Kansas.  She grew up and attended school in Parsons.

Family was the center of Charlotte's life.  She dedicated her life to making a warm and comfortable home for her family and keeping her family close.  Reading and finding treasures at garage sales were favorite hobbies.

Survivors include:

Two daughters – Carol Merrill of Parsons, Kansas;

Lisa Merrill of Parsons, Kansas

Three grandchildren - Haley Riley, Anthony Lee, and Olivia Lee

One great-granddaughter - Cleo Lee

One sister - Judy Corey of Shawnee, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Nick Merrill and James Merrill; and one grandson, Steven Merrill.

No service is planned at this time.  Cremation is under the care of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
