Charlotte L. Robinson, 89, formerly of Altamont, died at 11:10 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2007, at the Parsons Presbyterian Manor. She had been in failing health.
She was born September 7, 1917, in Canada Township, Labette County, Kansas, to Newton A. and Estelle (Abshier) Allison. She grew up and attended schools in rural Labette County near Altamont. She lived her entire life in Labette County, Kansas.
She and Nathan E. Robinson were married January 30, 1935, in Edna, Kansas.
Following marriage, they lived and farmed in Labette County until moving to Altamont in the late 1950's. He preceded her in death November 15, 1998.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oswego.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jesse Allison, Glenn Allison and Earl Allison; three sisters, Vernia Triplett, Ruby Reel and Marie Spencer, and one great-grandchild, Carson Swindler.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Oswego. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 28, 2007, at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont. Friends may call after 3:00 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home.
