Christian R. Gaiser

Christian R. Gaiser, 70, of Parsons, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at his home.

Christian Russell Gaiser was born on September 11, 1951, to Fred and Juanita Mae (Brooks) Gaiser in Oswego, Kansas.  As a young boy, he grew up and attended school in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School.

After high school, Christian served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  He then returned to Parsons and worked at Ruskin Manufacturing for a time.  For a number of years, he worked in construction, which took him to various areas around the United States, including Nashville, Tennessee; Pensacola, Florida; and Hot Springs, Arkansas.

In the 1960's, Christian was a member of the band "The Other Five."  He was also an avid knife collector, enjoyed tinkering with electronics and watching tv westerns.

Christian and Mary Gudde were united in marriage.  The couple later divorced.  He then married Regina Wescott.  She preceded him in death.

Survivors include:

One son – Jeff Gaiser of Parsons, Kansas

Three daughters – Patricia Gaiser of Parsons, Kansas

Christy Coleman of Springhill, Tennessee

Autumn Gaiser-Dalton of Lebanon, Tennessee

Eight grandchildren

Three great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Regina; and one brother, Duke Gaiser.

No service has been planned at this time.  Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
