Christina L. "Chris" Hall, 62, of rural Oswego, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024. Her death was unexpected.
Christina L Gatton was born on October 29, 1961, to Robert and Nola (Turner) Gatton in Parsons, Kansas. As a young girl, she grew up and attended school in Altamont.
Chris loved her family. She loved her kids, grands and great-grandkids. She was always planning trips to visit with them and watch any of their activities. She was an adventurer. She enjoyed road trips with her daughter to go pick up whatever animal she would find or treasure hunt at all the "junk" shops they would come across. She enjoyed going to the zoo and watching games and recitals with her grandchildren. She enjoyed hanging out with her kids and their families and was always up for anything. Chris also loved her animals. She liked going trail riding with her husband and friends. She bought Hereford cows in memory of her childhood and loved taking care of them. Her dogs, Huck and Blocker, were her babies. She had chickens as well that wouldn't stay out of her flower beds! Chris also enjoyed just spending time with her brothers and nephews and nieces. She would host them on regular occasions in her home and go hang out with them at theirs. She was also a master doodler. She loved to draw and hang her drawings all over work and to give them away. She and her husband also liked gardening together and just spending quiet evenings at home with her nose in a book. Chris liked to can what they grew. She liked to bake and cook, no one would ever leave hungry or without a handful of cookies. Chris was a very loved person. She always had a smile on her face and a mischievous shine in her eyes. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
On September 3, 2005, Chris and Derek S. Hall were united in marriage in rural Altamont. He survives of the home.
