Christopher Lee "Chris" Carnahan, passed from this life on March 3, 2024, and entered a place of true peace and unconditional love.

Chris was born in Parsons, Kansas, on January 31, 1972, and from the moment he come into this world, he brought great joy to those that knew and loved him. He was a happy baby and as he grew up, he had a wonderful sense of humor and would often have those around him laughing at his quick wit, one-liners, and stories from his travels.

Anyone who knew him knew he didn't shy away from sharing his opinions, he was passionate about his beliefs and he at times had a tough exterior because life more than once tossed him about without mercy, but he had great compassion and love for his family and his friends. Chris had an amazing capacity for kindness, and a giving heart. He was a wonderful son to his mother and brought her great happiness and joy. There were days she would look out the window and see his Jeep driving up the driveway out of the blue. Those who he loved know that he reached out to them often and he truly cared about them.

Chris loved being outside, he loved riding four wheelers and the Odyssey with his uncles when he was young and then riding his side by side out on the trails of Colorado to explore the great outdoors. He was his own person and he loved to travel. He enjoyed living in Colorado and would often take pictures wherever he went and shared the beauty he found behind the lens with family and friends.

Chris belonged to us and we miss him and cannot imagine what life will be without him here. We will cherish, remember, and love the time we had with him even more.

Chris leaves behind his beloved mother, who he adored, Kathy Carnahan; his sister, Tracy Carnahan; his grandmother, Wilma Nash; two nieces, Trista and Kristine Nash; dear friend who he loved like a brother, Mike Robinett (Deb); his best friend, Mike Gabardi; his father, Gary Carnahan; Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins who loved him dearly; and many friends who left an impact on his heart, and we know he left imprints on theirs.

He is proceeded in death by his Grandpa Donald Nash; Grandparents Glen and Velma Carnahan; uncles, Kenneth Nash, Jack Wilkinson, Rick Nash, and his youngest uncle and childhood confidant Steve Nash, and his wife Cheryl.
