Christopher S. Killman, 62, of Mound Valley, died at 9:07 p.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

He was born October 12, 1950 in Aberdeen, Washington to Norman D. and Betty Colleen (Smading) Killman. He grew up and attended school in Washington State.

He moved to Sedalia, Missouri where he worked for the Katy Railroad. He then moved to Parsons where he worked for the M-K-T Railroad and Sherwood Cabinets. He then worked for Hi-Lo Industries in Chanute and later Grandview Products in Parsons.

He enjoyed fishing and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Izaiah.

Scott Killman Thornton, CO
Tracy Killman Spokane, WA
Two Daughters – Callie Morgan Burbank, CA
Jamie Roberts Mound Valley, KS
Twelve Grandchildren
One Great-Grandson
One Brother – Kirby Killman Cheney, WA
One Sister – Rebecca Killman Bellevue, WA
He was preceded in death by one sister, Jennie Killman.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service.

Memorials are suggested to help defray funeral expense. These may be left at or mailed to Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 374, Parsons, KS 67357.
