Cindy S. Murray

Cindy S. Murray, 68, of Pittsburg and formerly of Parsons, passed away the morning of Monday, February 10, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg.

Cindy Sue Murray was born on February 9, 1957, to Bill and Lucille Murray in Fredonia, Kansas.  For several years, Cindy was a resident at Haven Support in Pittsburg.  She was loved by the many people who knew her.  She loved Elmos and really enjoyed Mexican food and a cup of coffee after a meal.

She is survived by her mother, Lucille Shukers; an aunt, an uncle, several cousins and many friends at Haven Support.  She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Murray; and her step-father, Seward Shukers.

The graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence.  Services are under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
