Cindy Traxson, 68, of Altamont, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024, at her residence.
Cindy Kathleen Davidson was born on June 28, 1955, to Denzil A. Davidson and Doris (Stevens) Davidson in Parsons. She grew up and attended school in Labette County, graduating from Labette County High School.
She worked as a florist.
Her family was the center of her life and spending time with her grandchildren was one of her favorite things. She loved being a Grammy. She enjoyed going fishing, watching softball and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Cindy married Scott Traxson in 1972. To this union, two children were born. The couple later divorced.
Survivors include:
Daughter – Jenny Anderson and husband, Alex, of Independence, Kansas
Two granddaughters – Kelsie Baker and her husband, Mitch ,of Stockton, Missouri
Aubree Stewart of Springfield, Missouri
Two great-grandsons – Sullivan and Franklin Baker of Stockton, Missouri
Sister – Trish Bennett of Wichita, Kansas
Brother – Steve Davidson of Lakin, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son; Josh Traxson; and her sister, Peggy Palmer.
Cremation is under the care of the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Altamont. There are no services planned at this time.
