Clara Neville

Clara Neville, 77, of Parsons, died at 4:30 p.m., Friday, September 21, 2007 at her home.

She was born March 3, 1930 in Prue, Oklahoma to John S. Ramsey and Della (Davis) Ramsey. As a child, she moved with her family to Mound Valley, Kansas. She grew up and attended schools in Mound Valley and was a straight A student. She enjoyed music and was in the band in high school. She played several musical instruments including the saxophone and piano.

She and Doyle L. Neville were married on December 27, 1947. In 1967, they moved to Parsons. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2005.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ressie Babb, Gladys Hall, and Jessie Ramsey.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons, where friends may call at their convenience.. Burial will follow in the Mound Valley Cemetery.
