Cora L. Mobley, 66, of Chetopa, died at 7:28 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Chetopa Manor Nursing Home. She had been in failing health.
She was born June 26, 1942, in Chetopa, to Charles John and Ora Evelyn (McGuirk) Davis. She grew up and attended schools in Chetopa, graduating from Chetopa High School.
She worked as a dietary aide in Parsons and was a homemaker.
She and Edward Eugene Bailey were married in August 1963. They later divorced. She and Larry Mobley were married. He preceded her in death in 2006.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2008, at the Faith Baptist Church in Chetopa.
