Curtis Bushong, 49, of Oswego, died unexpectedly at his home early Thursday, November 3, 2016.
He was born August 30, 1967 in Houston, Texas to Morris Bushong, Sr. and Betty Joyce (Scott) Bushong. As a young boy, Curtis grew up in Houston where he attended school.
Through the years, he worked as a framer and truck driver. In 2007, he moved to Oswego where he had lived since.
He was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Oswego. Curtis enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, fishing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan.
He and Angela S. Phillips were married December 10, 2010 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Oswego. She survives of the home.

Michael Bushong Gatesville, TX
One Daughter – Amber Bushong – serving in the United States Air Force in Korea
One Stepdaughter – Alexandria Ezell Oswego, KS
Two Grandchildren – Alexis Bushong and Remington Bushong
Three Brothers – Morris Bushong, Jr. and his wife, Tammy Chetopa, KS
Darrell Bushong and his wife, Connie Sweeny, TX
Jimmy Bushong Gatesville, TX
One Sister – Kathy Seward Gatesville, TX
He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter, Hadley Bushong.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the First Southern Baptist Church in Oswego.
