Dana (Doyne) Spector Lollis, 83, of Parsons, died at 3:55 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at Parsons Presbyterian Manor. She had been in failing health.
She was born November 7, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, to David and Jessie (Rosuck) Doyne. As a child, she moved with her family to Parsons where she attended schools and was a graduate of Parsons High School.
She worked as a recreational therapist at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center for eight years before moving to Osage Beach, Missouri, in 1970. In later years, she moved to Joplin, Missouri, and Plato, Missouri, to be near family. She had resided at the Parsons Presbyterian Manor since July of this year.
She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Parsons and the Elks Lodge in Joplin. She enjoyed fishing.
She and Alvin Spector were married in Kansas City, Kansas, in 1951. He preceded her in death in August of 1968.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at the Parsons Presbyterian Manor. The family will hold private committal services at a future date.
