Dannie R. Schlatter, 73, of Oswego, passed away at 10:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at the Chetopa Manor.
Dannie Ray Schlatter was born on December 14, 1946, to Martin and Isabelle (Lewman) Schlatter in Labette County, Kansas. He grew up and attended school in Labette County.
Following graduating from high school, Dannie attended one year of college before he began his career in auto body repair for auto dealerships. He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include:
One son – Quincy Schlatter of Oswego, Kansas
One daughter – Terri Schlatter of Dallas, Texas
Two grandchildren – Jeff Schlatter and Brittney Schlatter
Three great-grandchildren
One brother – Lloyd Schlatter of Oswego, Kansas
Three sisters – Rita Townsend of Oswego, Kansas
Judy Schlatter of Louisiana
Marilyn Schlatter of Oswego, Kansas
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and three sisters.
Services are under the direction of the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Chetopa.
