Danny Lee Towles, 76, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and formerly of Parsons, Kansas, died Saturday, November 12, 2016 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born February 5, 1940 in Parsons, Kansas to Earl and Nell Towles.
Danny served in the U.S. Army, retired as a Machinist from Union Pacific Railroad, and loved old cars, especially his 1939 Chevrolet.
Danny is survived by his wife, Jewell Towles of Bella Vista; two sons: Todd Towles and his wife, Lisa of Colorado, and Earl Towles and his wife, Bobbi of Olathe, KS; and five grandchildren: Adison, Brooklyn, Breaeden, Bryce, and Brennleynne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Wallace Towles of Salina, KS and Clyde Towles of Parsons, KS; and one sister, Dorthy Blackburn of Parsons, KS.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons with military honors given by Brown-Bishop Post No. 704, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
