David Mosley, Jr., 42, of Parsons, passed away at 5:22 a.m., Friday, November 6, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.
He was born June 30, 1973 in Monroe, Louisiana to David Mosley, Sr. and Lillie (Jackson) Mosley. As a young boy, he grew up in Rayville, Louisiana where he attended school.
In 1990, he moved to Parsons where he worked at Kentucky Fried Chicken and Western Uniform and Towel Service. David was a rap artist who wrote and performed his own music. He also began a clothing business of designer shirts. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, writing stories, and was an excellent cook.

He was preceded in death by his father, David D. Mosley, Sr., on June 14, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
