David L. Robinson

David L. Robinson, 56, of Odum, Georgia, formerly of Parsons, Kansas, died Friday afternoon, December 2, 2011, at his home. He had been in failing health. He was born April 18, 1955, in Parsons, to Derwood E. and Ruth E. (Hamm) Robinson. He grew up and attended schools in the Parsons area. While living in Parsons, he was employed by Ruskin Manufacturing and Swift's Trucking Company. While residing in Georgia and other states, he worked as a project manager for MGC Roofing and Construction Company. Survivors include: Two Sons – Shawn Robinson Odum, GA Matthew Robinson Odum, GA One Daughter – Natasha Purcell Oswego, KS Three Grandchildren Three Brothers – Lloyd Robinson Phoenix, AZ Jack Robinson Parsons, KS Buddy Robinson Parsons, KS He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Margaret Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2011, at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Burial will be in East Bethany Cemetery.
