Deborah Lee "Debbi" Willeford

Deborah Lee "Debbi" Willeford, 64, of Parsons, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

She was born January 2, 1954 in Parsons, Kansas to James Lee and Letah Jewel (Hight) Willeford. She grew up and attended school in Parsons and was a 1972 graduate of Parsons High School.

In earlier years, she worked at Fred Ronald Manufacturing Company and S-A-C, both in Parsons. She then worked as a Licensed Mental Health Technician II at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center for 27 ½ years.

She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Debbi was an animal enthusiast and had adopted numerous rescue dogs through the years.

Nephew – Steven Willeford of Dunkirk, NY

Nieces – Kimberly McMahon of Jamestown, NY

Tracy Wertz and her husband, Monty, of Altamont, KS

Great Nephews – Jacob Wertz and Jason McMahon

Great-Nieces – Jackie Smith and her husband, Taran

Jenny Lascola and her husband, Joe

Great-Great-Nephew – Rowen Smith

Numerous Cousins

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Michael Willeford and infant James Willeford.

A memorial visitation will be held from 7-8:00 p.m., Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. Private burial will be held by the family in Oakwood Cemetery in Parsons at a future date.
