DeEtta M. Henry, 69, of Galesburg, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital-St. Francis in Wichita.
She was born June 26, 1944 in Liberal, Kansas to Elmer Lankford Frederick and Irene Elizabeth (Bond) Frederick. She grew up and attended schools near Liberal. In the 1980's, she moved to Southeast Kansas where she had lived since.
As a young girl, she was Quaker. As an adult, she had joined the Mormon Church.
She and James O. Henry were married August 26, 1962. He survives of the home.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons, Ray Henry, Chanute, KS, and Mark Henry, of the home; one daughter, Richell Bridwell, Wichita, KS; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny Frederick, Kansas City, KS; and one sister, Elsie Burnett, Galesburg, KS.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and two sons, Jerry Henry and Duane Henry.
Following cremation, memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
