It is with profound sadness that the family of Delbert "Dale" Ray McDaniel announce his peaceful passing on March 28, 2023, at the age of 55 years.
Dale McDaniel was born on October 5, 1967, in Parsons, Kansas. He was the loving son to Jimmie "Teach" Turner and Iris McDaniel Turner. Dale grew up in Parsons, graduating from Parsons High School in 1986.
Dale had a successful career of 35 years at the State Hospital and Training Center. He was loved by the residents that he cared for until his retirement in 2020.
As a devoted husband and father, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his children. He was well-known for his giant heart of gold and would give anyone the shirt off his back. He enjoyed grilling, making others laugh, NASCAR, and working on cars. Anything Dale drove, you could count on it being absolutely spotless.
On June 1, 2010, Delbert and Jamie Danell Thornton were united in marriage in Key West, Florida. She survives of the home.
