Delores J. Hurley, 85, of Wichita, Kansas and a retired registered nurse, passed away at
10:30 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Presbyterian Manor in Wichita.
She was born, December 28, 1928 at Kanopolis, Kansas to Herbert F. and Rosa M. (Sellers) Hurley. She grew up and attended school in Kanopolis. She later moved to Wichita, Kansas where she worked as a registered nurse with the Coleman Company and for the American Red Cross for many years.
She enjoyed collecting Western and Indian artifacts and spending time in Arizona and New Mexico.
Delores is survived by two sisters, Frances Hurley of Wichita and Dorothy Michaels of Indianola, Iowa as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Following cremation, private family services will be held at a later date with burial at the Ellsworth Cemetery at Ellsworth, Kansas. The Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons is
