Dennis K. "Doc" Deming, 58, of Hayes, Virginia, died at 7:06 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2006 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near Tucson, Arizona.
He was born March 22, 1948 in Los Angeles, California to Donald Keith and Carol Louise (Lotito) Deming. He grew up and attended schools in Los Angeles. Following high school graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam. For a time, he served in the U.S. Navy as a deep sea diving medical technician. In September of 1990 he retired from the U.S. Army as staff sergeant.
On February 14, 1992, he married Carol J. Nolder in Virginia. She survives of the home. For several years, he had worked as an over-the-road truck driver and was presently employed by Powersource Transportation, Inc. He enjoyed painting cars and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald K. Deming.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Altamont with military honors given by the U.S. Army Honor Guard from Ft. Riley. Friends may call at the Bath-Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Altamont after 9:00 a.m., on Monday, October 30, 2006.
