Dennis A. Thurman, 89, of rural Oswego, passed away the morning of Thursday, September 16, 2021, at his home.
Dennis Albert Thurman was born on April 2, 1932, in St. Louis, Missouri. As a young boy, he grew up and attended school in St. Louis. He served his country in the 1950's in the United States Air Force.
Throughout the years, Dennis worked as a diesel mechanic. He enjoyed gardening and working on cars.
In 1957, Dennis and Margret V. Reinhardt were united in marriage. She survives of the home.

Three sons – Ronny Thurman of Salt Lake City, Utah
Danny Thurman of Girard, Kansas
Dale Thurman of Oswego, Kansas
One daughter – Vicky Smith of South Carolina
Seven grandchildren
Two sisters – Donna and Charlotte Thurman of the St. Louis, Missouri area
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.
