Diane M. Evans

Diane M. Evans, 41, of Mound Valley, passed away at University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

Diane Marie Veenstra was born on June 28, 1983, to Daniel Roundtree and Judy Ann (Martin) Veenstra, Jr., in Parsons, Kansas.  She grew up in Mound Valley and attended Mound Valley Elementary and Labette County High School.

For a time, Diane worked at PowerFlame and Grandview.  Her greatest job was caring for her family.  She loved spending time with her family and making a comfortable home for them.  Watching movies, reading and doing word puzzles were favorite pastimes.

Diane and Christopher James Evans were united in marriage.  He survives of the home.

One daughter – Kiersten Kebert of Mound Valley, Kansas

Two step-sons – Payton Evans of Parsons, Kansas

Kylor Evans of Parsons, Kansas

One granddaughter – Alora Kebert

Her parents – Daniel and Judy Veenstra, Jr. of Mound Valley, Kansas

Two brothers – Danny Veenstra and his wife, Christina, of Mound Valley, Kansas

Mark Veenstra and his wife, Crystal, of Parsons, Kansas

Her in-laws – James and Toni Evans of Parsons, Kansas

One brother-in-law – Dillon Evans and his wife, Isabella, of Erie, Kansas

Four sisters-in-law – Dawn Lemaster and her husband, Adam, of Mound Valley, Kansas

Lacey Evans of Parsons, Kansas

Seirra Nichols and her husband, Nathan, of Oklahoma

Breanna Evans of Parsons, Kansas

Special cousin – Brandon Veenstra

Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home of Parsons.  There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
